The ROTS Academy is an intensive training day designed for all regatta beginners who have never taken part in a competition or want to improve their skills. Theory, tactics, training and fun. Limited to 10 places, one day before the Racer of the Sea at the Surffestival Fehmarn.

What to expect
After a short introduction and discussion of the day’s planning, a short theoretical unit follows. Here you will find out everything about regatta windsurfing. We will explain to you what to expect on the regatta course and what will help you in advance to ensure a good and smooth process.
We will then focus on your equipment and show you how to optimally set up, select and rigg / derigg your material. We will then try out the knowledge we have learned directly in practical training. The focus is on the start training and on the first mark rounding. With direct feedback on the water, quick learning success is guaranteed. The practical unit ends with a short final race, in which a competition situation is simulated.
The training day ends with a feedback session and an after surf drink. Food is self-sufficient.
