The Racer of the Sea Regatta is the ideal opportunity to get into regatta windsurfing, improve your competitive skills or just spend a nice weekend with like-minded people. We place a particular focus on promoting and supporting young and female windsurfers. This year again with 1001€ price money.

What to expect
The competition format is kept as simple as possible: no material restrictions, simple slalom course, no complicated processes, few rules and everyone gets the same competition time on the water.
Due to the division into two disciplines, non-foiling windsurfers are also well looked after. In the “Fin only Division” you only start with a fin (from approx. 12 knots). Those who also (or only) foil start in the “Mixed (Fin&Foil) Division”, where the participants choose whether they start with foil or fin.
But there is also an attractive and social supporting program away from the regatta course. In addition to the shared BBQ and the big raffle, in which all participants receive a prize, there is also an alternative program when there is no wind.
For absolute regatta newcomers or those who want to brush up on their regatta knowledge, we offer the optimal opportunity to prepare for the regatta with the Racer of the Sea Academy the day before the competition.
A parking space at the Hemmelmark campsite is reserved through previous regatta registrations. The special fee for regatta participants is paid independently.
